D4i certification

DiiA members are now able to certify their D4i products in a procedure that includes independent verification of test results. >> More about D4i

Certified products are eligible to carry the D4i trademarks. All D4i-certified products are compulsorily listed in the Product Database.

D4i product type Requirements for certification Testing
LED drivers

D4i certification is now available for LED drivers that:

  • Implement Part 250
  • Implement all of Parts 251-253
  • Meet the requirements in “D4i Certification and Trademark Use”
  • Part 150 is optional
 Testing is an extenstion of DALI-2, using ProbitLab2
Standalone AUX power supplies

D4i certification is now available for products that:

  • Implement Part 150
 Tests are manual and do not use the ProbitLab2
Luminaires

Certification of luminaires is not offered. D4i trademark use is allowed on luminaires that:

  • Meet the requirements in “D4i Certification and Trademark Use”

Control devices

D4i certification is now available for control devices that:

  • Implement Part 351
  • Meet the requirements in “D4i Certification and Trademark Use”
 Testing is an extenstion of DALI-2, using ProbitLab2
