D4i certification starts today for LED drivers

November 18, 2019

DiiA, the global DALI alliance, has announced the start of D4i certification for LED drivers that have a specific set of features required for intra-luminaire DALI.

These features relate to power-supply requirements, as well as data for enhanced asset tracking & performance monitoring, diagnostics and energy metering.

D4i-certified LED drivers are eligible to carry the new D4i logo, which is a DiiA Trademark. The D4i logo trademark can also be used on qualifying luminaires.

D4i certification is also available for stand-alone 24V auxiliary (AUX) power supplies.

Control devices—such as sensors and wireless communication devices with a DALI gateway—will be added to the D4i certification program at a later date.

All D4i-certified products are listed in the online Product Database.
