First DiiA Specification transferred to IEC

The DiiA Specification “DALI Part 150 – AUX Power Supply” has been successfully transferred to the IEC and published as a new Part of the IEC 62386 family of international standards.

The new Part “IEC 62386-150:2023” is now available for purchase from the IEC web store. 

IEC 62386-150:2023 specifies the minimum requirements for an auxiliary (AUX) power supply that can be used to power a load, such as a sensor or communication device.

The DALI Alliance has created a number of DiiA Specifications that add further standardized features to the DALI lighting-control protocol. These specifications will be transferred to IEC to expand the multi-Part IEC 62386 standard.

The DALI Alliance develops and maintains various certification programs (DALI-2, D4i and the forthcoming DALI+ certification) that are built on the requirements of IEC 62386 and the relevant DiiA Specifications.
