Are there software libraries available to help speed-up development of control gear or control devices?

Control gear

Many micro-controller unit (MCU) manufacturers already provide example code for control gear. Some also provide development kits with outputs for LED lamps. Check with your preferred MCU manufacturers for application notes, development kits and DALI software libraries.

Members providing libraries for control gear include: Infineon and Renesas.

Control devices

MCU selection for single-master control devices is relatively straightforward. For multi-masters, it is recommended to check that suitable timers or capture/compare units are included. There are a few MCU manufacturers that provide software libraries for control devices.
