IEC publishes further standards based on DiiA Specifications

Four more DiiA Specifications have been successfully transferred to the IEC and published as new Parts of the IEC 62386 family of international standards.

The following Parts are now available for purchase from the IEC web store.

• IEC 62386-250:2023 - Integrated power supply
• IEC 62386-251:2023 – Memory bank 1 extension
• IEC 62386-252:2023 – Energy reporting
• IEC 62386-253:2023 – Diagnostics and maintenance

These Parts follow the publication of IEC 62386-150:2023 for auxiliary (AUX) power supplies – see News.

The DALI Alliance has created a number of DiiA Specifications that add further standardized features to the DALI lighting-control protocol. These specifications will be transferred to IEC to expand the multi-Part IEC 62386 standard.

The DALI Alliance develops and maintains various certification programs (DALI-2, D4i and the forthcoming DALI+ certification) that are built on the requirements of IEC 62386 and the relevant DiiA Specifications.
