DALI Standards

DALI is an internationally-standardized protocol for digital communication between lighting-control devices.

The standards that define DALI are:

• The IEC 62386 family of standards, published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)

• DALI Specifications, which are created and maintained by the DALI Alliance

Both IEC 62386 standards and DiiA Specifications are used to create the various DALI product certification programs.
